Triste Noticia y a movernos

Posted in Uncategorized on septiembre 4, 2010 by abel63

I Heard It Through The Grapevine (Lo supe por un chisme) – Credence Clearwater Revival

Posted in Uncategorized with tags , on agosto 22, 2010 by abel63

I Heard It Through The Grapevine
Creedence Clearwater Revival

1972

Ooo, bet you're wondering how I knew
'Bout your plan to make me blue
With some other guy that you knew before
Between the two of us guys
You know I love you more
It took me by surprise, I must say
When I found out yesterday, ooh

[CHORUS]
I heard it through the grapevine
Not much longer would you be mine
Ooh, I heard it through the grapevine
And I'm just about to lose my mind
Honey, honey, yeah

You know that a man ain't supposed to cry
But these tears, I can't hold inside
Losing you would end my life, you see
Cause you mean that much to me
You could have told me yourself
That you found someone else

Instead

[repeat CHORUS]

People say you hear from what you see
Na na not from what you hear
I can't help being confused
If it's true, won't you tell me, dear
Do you plan to let me go
For the other guy
That you knew before, ooh

[repeat CHORUS 2x]

She’s not there (Ella no está ahí) – The Zombies

Posted in Uncategorized with tags on agosto 22, 2010 by abel63

She's not There
The Zombies

1964

No one told me about her
The way she lied
Well, no one told me about her
How many people cried

Well, it's too late
To say you're sorry
How would I know
Why should I care

Please don't bother
Trying to find her
She's not there, ooh

Nobody told me about her
What could I do
Well, nobody told me about her
Though they all knew

Well, it's too late
To say you're sorry
How would I know
Why should I care

Please don't bother
Trying to find her
She's not there

Well, let me tell you
About the way she looked
The way she acted
The color of her hair

Her voice is soft and cool
Her eyes are clear and bright
But she's not there

Oh, it's too late
To say you're sorry
How would I know
Why should I care

Please don't bother
Trying to find her
She's not there

Well, let me tell you
About the way she looked
The way she acted
The color of her hair

Her voice is soft and cool
Her eyes are clear and bright
But she's not there

Is This the dream – The Zombies

Posted in Uncategorized with tags on agosto 22, 2010 by abel63

Is This The Dream
The Zombies

1965

Hey, hey, hey
I want to tell you something
So listen try to understand
Hey, hey, hey
If you continue to chase the sun
I'll never be your man

I'll count the times that I told you
You really shouldn't try
And I told you
Cause baby you'll just cry for a shadow
Believe me
Baby, baby, baby

Is this the dream you're crying for
Is this the dream
Is this the dream you're crying for
Is this the dream
Hey, hey, hey

I better warn you now
Someday you'll find yourself alone
Hey, hey, hey

And life's not pretty then
It's ugliness will hide the sun

I'll count the times that I told you
You really shouldn't try
And I told you
Cause baby you'll just cry for a shadow
Believe me
Baby, baby, baby

Is this the dream you're crying for
Is this the dream
Is this the dream you're crying for
Is this the dream

I'm going to do just how I feel
Don't try to hustle me the way I feel
Hey, hey, hey

I'll count the times that I told you
You really shouldn't try
And I told you
Cause baby you'll just cry for a shadow
Believe me
Baby, baby, baby

Is this the dream you're crying for
Is this the dream
Is this the dream you're crying for
Is this the dream

Is this the dream you're crying for
Oh you can't live with a dream
You can't buy with a dream, oh
Is this the dream
Is this the dream you're crying for

Tell Her No (Dile no) – The Zombies

Posted in Uncategorized with tags on agosto 22, 2010 by abel63

Tell Her No
The Zombies

1965

And if she should tell you come closer
And if she tempts you with her charms

Tell her no, no, no, no, no
No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no
No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no

Don't hurt me now
For her love belongs to me
And if she should tell you
I love you, whoa, oh
And if she tempts you with her charms

Tell her no, no, no, no, no
(Oh, oh, don't let her love from your arms)
No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no
No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no

Oh, oh, oh, don't hurt me now
For her love belongs to me

I know she's the kind of girl
Who'd throw my love away
But I still love her so
Don't hurt me now
Don't hurt me now

If she tells I love you
Just remember she said that to me

Tell her no, no, no, no, no
(Oh, yeah, don't take her love from my arms)
No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no
No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no

Oh, oh, oh, don't leave me now
For her love belongs to me

Time of the season (Tiempo de la estación) – The Zombies

Posted in Uncategorized with tags on agosto 21, 2010 by abel63

Time Of The Season
The Zombies

1969 (Puesto # 3 del Hot 100 U.S.A)

It's the time of the season
When love runs high
In this time
Give it to me easy
And let me try
With pleasured hands

To take you in the sun to
(Promised lands)
To show you every one
It's the time of the season for loving

What's your name
(What's your name)
Who's your daddy
(Who's your daddy)
(He rich)
Is he rich like me?

Has he taken
(Has he taken)
Any time (any time)
(To show) to show you
What you need to live

Tell it to me slowly
(Tell you what)
I really want to know
It's the time of the season for loving

What's your name
(What's your name)
Who's your daddy
(Who's your daddy)
(He rich)
Is he rich like me?

Has he taken
(Has he taken)
Any time (any time)
(To show) to show you
What you need to live

Tell it to me slowly
(Tell you what)
I really want to know
It's the time of the season for loving
